Hey just noticed I haven't seen any RS members in over a week straight. I've been playing daily, have noticed that the 2 story is always "slightly worn" indicating no one on besides myself. Are folks on vacation or something?
Also josher's t2a large brick is about to collapse :(

If you happen to own an empty vendor at HQ, please refill them or just collect the gold and dismiss them. The empty ones are going to decay and you'll eventually lose money. Also the self interest part is that I'm running a fully stocked vendor and it looks bad to have multiple empty vendors in the house :P

It looks like the guild is leaning to a separate stone just for order/chaos. We're waiting to see what the odds are like before we decide which one.
So far it looks like we're going to have several swords/mages.

This is the first guild newsletter. Basically this is to give info to every RS, regardless of how long it's been since you logged in. Having been in a similar situation of not playing for a month or so, I know how easy it is to get out of the loop. Anyway, onto the news:

BIG NEWS- PvP is getting steadily better. All magic armor and weps that was fished up during the fishing/tmap hayday now breaks very easily. Therefore, magic items and armor no longer dominate pvp! Things are back to GM armor/weapons in the field.

Housing news- RS housing continues to expand near Merlen's tower. Alexis now has a nearby tower connecting to both Merlen and Joshers' towers. Shad's 2story log cabin is becoming a resupply depot and Karple has placed a Keep just to the east. There's lots of action in the housing area because of the reds in the tower just south of us.

Event news- Over the 4th of july, there was an unguarded trinsic undead invasion. Several ancient liches spawned and prizes were given for being there including runebook dye tubs and some true rares and rare charcoal and red cloth.

Server news- Overall, the population of divinity fell badly after the influx of magic weaps/armor/gold from fishing. The population was down to about 300 and almost no one played. The server is finally recovering from this and avg. pop is around 400. If you haven't played recently or lost interest, try it out again. Merlen, Shad, Karple and myself play every day.

hey everyone, or at least everyone who's still reading this rather stale forum!
Divinity has improved quite a bit recently. The order/chaos patch is coming soon and sounds like a lot of fun. What are folks thoughts on this? If you haven't read about it, read the house of commons log on the divinity forums. Also, in case folks didn't know the flood of magic weapons and armor that came in during the cheesy tmap-mib era are now decaying very fast. Sadly, it means that all your old stuff is crap, but... it gives you something new to work towards AND not everyone will be fielding vanq weapons with invul gear anymore. Please reply!

i was playing this afternoon, restocked my vendor and stuff. Also planning on playing tonight (Wednesday night) after dinner around 8 or 9 central.

hey man, we're still around but not as active as when you first joined. The PK population has really gone down following the whole treasure map/MIB loot thing so now we don't do as much anti-ing in general. I play a few times a week around 7-8 pm central, usually on wed. This weekend one of my friends came down from Indiana for his brother's wedding so I'll be pretty busy but should be on the following week. Welcome Back!

After quite a long absence I'm back to playing more often.
This is partially thanks to Merlen, since he sold me the CBD I'd
been after for so long. Anyway, I'm back into playing divinity regularly,
mostly in the evening around 8 or 9 pm central. Also we got a new member tonight, my friend Connacht. Just tonight, us 3 got into a major battle at covetus harpies vs 3 reds. So I hope to see you guys around, don't lose hope. :)

are you guys the ones with the gm leather vendor in the gear solution?
also ive been loggin on around 10 pm eastern but haven't caught anyone all week, except one time when karple was afk at the bank.

well it looks like t2a is open. Shad, Karple and I went to the opening event.
it was pretty fun, there were a lot of terathans and a really tough really fast queen at the end that exploded into piles of gold.
so far, recdu recsu doesn't work and the fire dungeon isn't populated yet.
also you can't teleport, gate or mark there, which makes getting to cyclops or ice dungeon quite annoying, since you have to carry a boat around.
anyway we're going to do some exploring monday night in t2a.

uhhh the biggest thing in danger of collapsing seems to
be divinity itself. Where is everyone? I may not log on much
but I do read our forums!

This is a more subtle play of Bowen. He likes to break players
ankles, players like AI. In this play, he delivers an air kick to Iverson's leg, but that's not his only method. For those of you not familiar with the NBA, one of the cheapest, yet hardest to prove dirty plays involves putting your foot under a jump shooter's landing spot. Chances are, they will land awkwardly and there's a pretty good chance of at least spraining your ankle at the least. The best part is, there's little physical contact and almost no chance of a technical foul, even though it is a very dirty play.

A great punch on Stoudemire in the stomach when stoudy didn't even have the ball, it's tough to see at first but watch from about 47 seconds on. If you look closely, Stat sets the screen and just gets punched in the chest by bowen when he doesn't have the ball. It's very quick and sneaky so he doesn't even get caught by the refs for it.
